He has been a member of CotC since 2009, served as music director from 2013 to 2018, and now serves college students and young adults in our community, in partnership with the Coalition for Christian Outreach. This council of men and women, five in total, meets monthly with our Rector to oversee the life and health of this community. They are a dedicated group that pray for this community and bring various skills, gifts, and experience to the leadership of the church. They do all kinds of things behind the scenes that make the ministry of Church of the Cross go smoothly. They also serve as the stewards of the church's resources.
Mission and Ministry Team
This team gathers monthly to learn about ministry together, to recognize where God is at work in our community, and to strategize about various ministries. This team is made up of the Clergy, Ministry Staff, Parish Council, and Ministry Team leaders. It helps us create a broader base of leadership in the community, and it exists to strengthen our ministry together.
Neighborhood Group and Ministry Team Leaders
Our Neighborhood Group leaders and ministry team leaders provide significant leadership in the life and ministry of our community. They are supported and encouraged by our staff in their various ministry roles. These leaders gather for a retreat day each year to pray, deepen relationships, and talk about and shape our vision for the year ahead.
